Hawkestone Farmers Market

Small but very busy. This is Busiest the quaint villiage of Hawkestone has been since the Canada Celebrations on July 1st.
Local vendors came to sell local organic produce, local maple syrup, herbs and perrenials for the garden, homemade jams and jellies, fresh baked bread and pies. Ontario corn a dozen for $6 is a good deal but the cob and pop for $1.50 is an inexpensive snack especially when th. Have never had a Samosa before.
Handcrafted clothing made from recycled textiles is very appealing and some amazing hand turned wooden bowls and rolling pins round out the crafts am am sure will be a hit with the cottagers and locals alike.
Organised in a rush, the Hawkestone Farmers market looks like a hit from the traffic on Allen St. and that "Apple of my Pie" was sold OUT of pies before the "official Opening". I am looking forward to more Fridays in the park, munching ,eating local and enjoying the sounds of local musicians.

Doggie in the Window

Okay besides being Princess PEE she has learnt a new trick.
Came home from shopping and she was lying on the kitchen table. A 50 lb German Shepherd in the middle of a table. Grabbed the camera and by then she was on the window legde.
Geez, even the cat isn't even allowed on the table
At least Tyson doesn't climb on the table. He would collapse it.

Just in time for Easter decorating. I've been working on vector graphics in PSPX and have released my first new webset in over a year. It is free linkware and can be found in my linkware directory.

It has cute pastel Easter eggs, buttons blank for customization. Also a matching blinkie in the adoptions section.

Where's Willy?

Do you ever wonder where that paper money in your pocket has been, or where it will go next? This is the place to find out.
I first found this site over 4 years ago when searching for something else. Then a few months later when cashing out at work, I came across a bill with Track this bill at Where's willy com One of the other gals bought it from me & tracked it. Yesterday I was given a 20 to buy beer and it had the whers willy logo. So Itracked it Started out in Niagara falls a year ago and also made it To Toronto .
If you get a bill with whereswilly.com or whersgeorge for our American friends, make sure you enter it in the database. It can be a lot of fun.

Frog on a Log

Frog on a log in a bog in my Blog.
Sam I am, I do not like green eggs and ham ;)

Still working on the xml feed for this site. Couldn't resist the Seussism.
Took some time out on the Canadian (OK Ontario) long weekend for a walk in the woods with my camera. This lil guy was as noisy as can be. He caught 2 juicy blue dragonflies while I watched. The cardinals & goldfinches were serenading us also.
